Internships for Home Schoolers

We just had one of our interns finish up with his internship. He’s not your typical intern though. His name is Erik Beckstrand, he’s 17, and he’s never been to public school in his life. He’s the oldest kid in his family, and his mother has home schooled him for his entire life.

I myself was home schooled for 7 years straight, and it was a harrowing experience. I had no social interaction except with church and neighbors, which wasn’t all that frequent. I am the oldest boy in my family, so I got a lot harsher treatment when I didn’t want to do my school work (which was pretty often)

Erik has been a hard worker, and takes his time learning things, but he does them well. I’m hoping this was a positive experience for him, and it taught me a lot too.

So, any one who home schools their kids, please have them contact us. Our virtual internships are the only ones you’ll find to give your children a chance to get a meaningful, real world internship straight out of high school.
