EDUCATION ASSOCIATE RESPONSIBILITIES: The incumbent will be a core member of the Media Bright team. The incumbent will be active in generating content for Media Bright in Second Life. The incumbent will be a community catalyst, bring in ideas from volunteers and helping to organize them into projects.

There are two main projects that the Media Bright team would like assistance with. First, is scripting a life size model of an ‘Intern Recruiting’ center, and second will be to create a model for recruiting interns through Second Life.

MAJOR OR AREA OF STUDY: Any major is considered. The incumbent must have a passion for space exploration and willing to apply their unique perspective to making space exploration more relevant to the average person.

REQUIRED: Must be familiar with Web 2.0 communities and collaborative technologies. The incumbent must have a working knowledge of LSL (Linden Scripting Language), the computer language to create content in Second Life, and be willing to answer questions to the Second Life community. The incumbent must be a self-starter and have the ability to pull in and organize volunteers for larger-scale projects.
