Was it worth it? Yes, because most internships in college are unpaid. I was able to get paid, and that was great. The experience was worth the time

How was it being able to earn credit from home? The best thing ever. I wouldn’t have been able to do any internship without being able to work from home. I wouldn’t have changed that aspect at all. As a PR major, with the way that marketing is going, it’s vital to learn more about social media and online techniques. I feel more confident walking into an interview and saying ‘I can help your busines grow online’

Have you used what you have learned? Yes, both of my siblings are starting their own businesses. I’ve been hired to be their marketing director and trying to implement the different skills I’ve learned to help them succeed. It’s fun to be able to help my family out from doing this internship.

What was your fav part of the internship?
Dealing with Facebook and Twitter, making videos, because it wasn’t too complicated, and it was fun to create something online, and take a break from writing all the time. It was fun to learn about new things, and research topics I had never heard of. Basically learning while you work.
